Meet Courtney Conlogue: World Class Surfer and Swimsuit Designer

We recently chatted with Courtney Conlogue, world class surfer.  Courtney Conlogoue recently designed her first collab surf collection with JOLYN and her inspiration.

What was the design inspiration behind the collection?

This collection was made with purpose and my knowledge from being a World Tour athlete, traveler, and a creative artistic designer. I live for the outdoors and strive to challenge myself both physically and mentally. These pieces were all curated with the same strength, passion, style, craft and detail I bring to my career in surfing and carry in my everyday life. As a water woman and avid athlete, I know what creates a limitless feel so you can feel beautiful, be strong, let go and conquer anything. Through my first-hand development and trials of this collection each piece works together and you’ll need them all.

What was your favorite part of the collab process?

I loved every aspect of curating this collection; from drawing the bikinis and collection pieces to deciding the materials, prints and finishing touches. The whole process of creating a collection is exciting. Having the opportunity to share and work with Warren and his team was so fun. So many weeks and surfs were spent bringing this collection to you.

Which piece from the collection is your favorite to surf in?

I love surfing and long-distance prone paddle in the Audacious one piece. It’s so sporty, chic and comfortable. My High Impact Force Top, Playa Bottoms, and boardies are worn every day and when I’m competing.

Where is your favorite surf spot?

My favorite surf spots are Teahupo’o and San Onofre.
